Despite multiple bathrooms on their Ferretti 60m, none offered a bath - an essential for the owners’ children who cherished bath time and play. Client Consultation & Design Vision
Aquamare Marine travelled to Monaco to meet the family, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and preferred design aesthetics. Rendered drawings were presented to help the family visualise the transformation.
Material Selection & Planning
Neutral tones were paired with contrasting Siminetti mosaic tiles - square mosaics on the edges and fantail mosaics elsewhere. The team prioritised non-porous, easy-to-clean materials to handle the rigours of children’s bath time and bath bombs.
Precision Removal & Refit
Custom marble fittings were carefully removed to accommodate the new design. Plumbing and bulkheads were reconfigured to house a large 1m x 2m bath, with logistics expertly managed to manoeuvre it through narrow yacht corridors.
Child-Safe, Luxury Installation
Safety was paramount, with rounded edges and strategic tap placement for ease during children’s use. Siminetti’s crushed shell tiles, coated for effortless maintenance, elevated both the look and practicality of the space.
